It began when Leonard started hearing voices. The voices said they would only stop when Leonard started to kill. The voices wanted a witness to his killings, too. So Leonard kidnapped FBI agent Riley O’Connor. Leonard drugged her and tied up her up in his cabin, and when she came around she knew she would need every ounce of strength she could muster to survive.
Jack Beckett along with every FBI agent in Northern California was looking for her. On the third day, she managed to escape and make her way to a phone. O’Connor was safe, but Leonard was on the loose. And he began killing.
O’Connor and Beckett had to find him before his killing spree grew worse. They had to think like a psychopath to catch one. In the end, they tricked him into returning to his cabin in the woods to confront and silence his voices.
As they lay in wait, hiding in the forest, Leonard found a way to sneak up on them. Would they finally take him down, or would the hunted find a way to kill the hunters?
